KiBONEN's Mäfo Dress movement Is Featured in Forbes Africa

A Google Alert landed in my inbox today, and there it was:

“From Lupita Nyong’o to a 5,000 Woman Dress Movement: The Cameroonian Taking African Fashion Global.”

Forbes Africa.

This moment is deeply personal.

For years, I have worked to carry Cameroonian heritage beyond the runway, weaving our Toghu embroidery, Nduop textile, identity and stories into fashion the world can recognize and value.

Today, that journey is growing into something far greater than me.

The MÄFO Dress has become a movement of women united by culture, sisterhood, purpose and influence. Our vision is bold: to gather 5,000 women wearing the same culturally significant dress and make history together.

Thank you, Forbes Africa, for recognizing KiBONEN, the journey behind the brand and the vision we are building.

We are taking African fashion global, one woman, one story and one MÄFO Dress at a time.

And we are only getting started.
